Our motto here at River Oaks Fitness is Eat Fit, Get Fit and Live Fit.  Our program is all-encompassing.  We focus on the necessary fundamentals that help our clients achieve results and make the lifestyle changes needed to maintain their results long-term.  There are four fit fundamentals that are crucial to helping our clients maintain a healthy lifestyle:  nutrition, supplementation, cardio, and resistance training.

The two fit fundaments to eating fit are nutrition and supplementation.  We want to ensure that our clients are eating the right kinds of foods and getting all the nutrients that their bodies need to be healthy.  All of our clients will have the opportunity to meet with a nutrition consultant from My Fit Foods.  Our nutrition consultants will educate our clients about basic nutritional concepts and give them the option to participate in the 21 Day challenge, which is a customized meal plan based on My Fit Foods or a modified version of the plan.  Our clients will also have the opportunity to have supplement plans designed specifically for them.  These plans are carefully designed on micronutrients they might be deficient in, so they know what supplements they should be taking to get all the vitamins and minerals their bodies need to reach their goals faster.  We also have other options where clients can log their food on-line to track their calories, macronutrients and other variables to monitor their nutritional intake.  Our goal is to provide our clients with every resource necessary to help them eat fit

The two fit fundamentals to getting fit are cardio and resistance training.  We want to ensure that our clients are improving their cardiorespiratory efficiency and burning body fat effectively.  We also want to ensure that our clients are following a structured integrated resistance training program to stabilize and strengthen their bodies while increasing their lean muscle mass.  All of our clients receive an initial assessment using an advanced assessment technology, the Polar Body Age System.   We use a number of different metrics to determine a client’s body age score which is how their biological age compares to their chronological age.  We also provide them with specific recommendations they can do to improve their health and fitness level.   Our clients are given the option to purchase heart monitoring devices to improve their cardiorespiratory efficiency and maximize their cardio and resistance training workouts.  Our resistance training program is an integrated approach, because we focus on all the variables that are important to designing a workout.  We will properly assess clients to structure different programs such as flexibility, core, balance or neuromuscular efficiency, reactive or plyometric , corrective exercise or performance enhancement and resistance training.  It is a scientific approach to designing an effective program and properly progressing a client to ensure they see results.
